Harry Potter defeated Voldemort. There were casualties, but finally the wizarding world got to live in peace. Harry Potter eventually became head of the Auror department, Ronald Weasley working just under him. Hermione Granger, after marrying Ron, began work in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and assisted in eradicating oppressive, pro-pureblood laws. Ginny Weasley married Harry Potter upon ending her quidditch career and became the quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet. Neville Longbottom is now the Herbology Professor and head of Gryffindor, while his wife Hannah (Abbott) runs the Leaky Cauldron. Luna Lovegood traveled for years, then after marrying and having twins, settled down to take over the Quibbler. Over all, they all got their happy ending.
Of course, new threats always arise. Everything can not be perfect, for people who grew up through a war, simple living just doesn't come easy. Its as if they are constantly craving more, life becomes dull when its too 'normal'. Will the need for new excitement tear the happy endings apart?
