Nellie opened her eyes and looked around her. She was back once again in St. Mungo's. Why couldn't she just be healthy for once in her life? She of course knew why she couldn't. She sat up and looked around. There didn't seem to be anyone with her. Maybe her parents and brother had gone home for the night. It wouldn't be a surprise. She had no clue how she ended up here again either. It could be a number of reasons. Hopefully she wasn't going to have to be worrying about taking medication again for leukemia. She had after all sent it into remission two years ago. It could still come back. It was treatable but there was still no cure for it. She laid back down trying to remember what had happened that day or the day before.
She always drew blanks when it came to her black outs landing her in a hospital bed. She thought rather hard giving herself a headache and decided that it was just better to wait and see what the others had to say about it. She then began thinking about her week and nothing came to mind. Could it be possible that she had been in a coma for a week. That wouldn't be a good thing. She started to slightly panic and had to talk herself out of it. She fell back asleep and woke up about two hours later looking around again.
She hated being in this place alone and wasn't sure that anyone else was in the room with her. She curled up in her blankets and then looked around to see a sleeping figure in the corner. She smiled noticing it was her brother. Maybe he'd be able to tell her something once he woke up. She figured her mother would come sooner or later and her dad was probably at work. It was late at night and the silence seemed far to eerie for the thirteen year old girl. Footsteps slowly began to come closer to her room and she sat up looking at the door waiting to see who it was that would walk through the door as the footsteps stopped at her door.
